SueC and MaggieMay have been
having DECEMBER dreams about reindeer. To their surprise, a reindeer
magically appeared! The three friends made their Moody way to The
Big City and set off for a day of reindeer adventure. Randy was anxious
to see and do EVERYTHING.

Randy is a great deal like his new
companions. The first thing he wants in the morning is his coffee
and Bailey's. You have to watch reindeer and Bailey's, and Randy
is a young fellow, so he only got a drop in his cafe au lait.
|

Randy listening to his FAVORITE Moodies
album while SueC and MaggieMay make themselves beautiful. Randy especially
loves A Winter's Tale, but steadfastly refuses to listen to Don't Need
A Reindeer.
|

While his girls finished dressing,
Randy made his way down to the hotel lobby to talk with friends.
|

Randy discusses directions with Brent,
the hotel concierge. Brent had several good ideas for Randy and his
girls. Randy wanted to see the stores decorated for his holiday and
Brent told him Sak's Fifth Avenue was a good bet. The three thanked
Brent and set off for Fifth Avenue!
|

It's Santa Claus! Randy loved
the Coca-Cola Christmas decorations, but MaggieMay and SueC were sad that
even though they asked nicely, the security guard for the corporate offices
didn't have any Diet Coke to give them.
|

Randy was very interested in the Cartier
cats climbing the walls of the building. How do they do that? he
asked. SueC smiled and told him it was holiday magic. Randy
loved seeing the cat jewelry in the Cartier windows.
|

MaggieMay heard the sound of a Salvation
Army bell, reminding us of those less fortunate. She told Randy that
it is bad luck to pass a Salvation Army kettle without putting in a token
of kindness. Randy wanted to help too! He put in his dollar
and received God's Blessing from the bell-ringer. He said how warm
it made him feel inside.
|

The three adventurers were at Saks!
Oooh Oooh! Randy was welcomed warmly by the Sak's greeter who gave
him a BIG hug.
|

Randy loves Armani and hurried over
to greet the salesclerks at the Armani makeup counter. He looked
at everything and bought MaggieMay shimmery lipgloss. SueC insisted
that she preferred her watermelon-flavored Chapstick. That's ok said
Randy!
|

He checked out a chick at the counter
when he thought we weren't looking. (We have to keep a close watch
on Randy!) Randy was VERY popular at Sak's and all the salesclerks
and shoppers wanted to hold him.
|

Randy looked longingly at the beautifully
decorated Sak's windows.
|

Oh! Rockefeller center
shouted Randy! I love the angels, he said.
|

Can't I go ice skating too? Randy
begged. Next time, his friends told him. He loved to watch
the skaters circle round and round. When can I see the Christmas
tree he plaintively asked. The girls told him it wasn't ready yet.
|

The trio started the trip back to
our favorite New York hotel. Here are some Christmas trees, Randy!
He liked the lights.
|

Have YOU been to Radio City Music
Hall, Randy asked his two friends. Yes, we saw The Moodies there,
and MaggieMay and SueC smiled at the happy memory. Here! Let's
take a picture of you! Say Cheese!
|
The three friends were hungry when
they got back and Randy is a growing reindeer. Have to get big so
you can pull Santa's sleigh, they told him! They let Randy sit at
the bar, and the couple sitting next to him told MaggieMay and SueC that
they would watch him. LOL
|
Is this good asked Randy?
Yes, but it's only for adults, said SueC.
|
After dinner, Randy had a few calls
to make.
|
He was very, very tired after his
busy day in The Big City. Why DOESN'T Justin need a reindeer? he
asked, as we tucked him into bed. *We* need you! the girls replied
in chorus. Randy smiled and fell fast asleep.
