| Well,
we did it!! Back-to-back concert tours including 5 different countries
over a span of two and a half months. Last August, while frantically
buying UK concert tickets in our Caesars Tahoe hotel room - at 2 a.m.,
after the concerts there - it seemed a long time off. The US dates
hadn't yet been announced, and we were determined to cross the ocean, if
necessary, to get our Moody fix. Little did we know then just how
big a fix was in store for us. LOL
Of course, the USA tour was announced not long after, and that became my priority. England was something I'd agreed to in the absence of a tour here, not in addition to it. I don't recall when it became clear to me that ten days after coming home from the final show in Canada I'd be leaving for Europe. But, that's exactly what happened. :-) I'm not going to review the concerts (that's Maggie's job and I don't want it) - though concert references are bound to crop up from time to time (it's why we were there, after all), the following pages are mainly my impressions of being abroad for the first time. |
