After MONTHS of planning, the USA Spring Tour, unlike Nights in White Satin, has reached an end.  To everyone who was around to share part of our trip, it was lovely to see you and I hope we all get the chance to do it again...soon!  As always, if you'd like to see a bigger picture, just click on the thumbnail.

'Tis always a great thing to get visual confirmation that the Moodies are truly in town!
photo
One of my favorite sights - the great view of the Bellagio fountains from our window at Paris.
photo
Th-th-the music played from the street cafes...ok, the sidewalk cafe was closed in the morning, but it was very charming when it was open!
photo
The night view was pretty spectacular, too.  I love Paris in the springtime (and every other season).

Nothing quite like the Vegas strip after dark, either from the room or on the street.
photo
Vegas was crowded in March.  Come to think of it, Vegas is always crowded!

On our way over to the Forum Shops, we decided to stroll through the Bellagio Botanical Gardens.

Maggie complained about the long walk through Bellagio, so I had to take this photo to make her happy.  Nice of that complete stranger to be so accommodating, eh? ;-)

Probably the most famous of all the strip resorts, Caesars Palace.

After checking out the place for the JohnLodge.com member meet&greet, we had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory.  So much good looks in one family (AND that Brownie Delight) should be against the law.
photo
On Wednesday evening, we all celebrated Blaine's birthday at Delmonico's in the Venetian, where the pastry chef buried us with even more dessert!  What a guy!  ;-)

The birthday party "party".

Showing our appreciation to our hunky private waiter.  Cathy, what are you doing with your hand??
photo
Lots visible in this photo - the entrance to Le Theatre des Arts, the packed bar, and the ever-popular stilt people.  :)

While the "sidewalks of Paris" were jammed during the day, they were pretty well deserted at 4 in the morning.
photo
The middle-of-the-night view toward our favorite gathering place, the bar, where we could hardly ever get a table because of all the non-Moody guests.  Of course, we also spent hours at the indoor sidewalk cafe, just on the other side of the tree in the foreground.

Fortunately, some of the crowd in Vegas were our friends, Lynne and Jackie.

And Val.  Val is looking pensive because she's getting ready to go home.  :-(

On the last day of our stay, I finally went out to the pool.  Some friends had been out all afternoon enjoying the sun, but 5 minutes after Cathy and I arrived, it clouded over.  Sheesh!

On to the rest of the tour!
