Porthcurno Beach! Guy stopped along the road so I could take this photo. |
As we got closer, I had him stop again. It just kept getting more beautiful! |
This is the Minack Theatre, across the cove from Porthcurno Beach. It was built in the 1930s, and carved directly into the cliff face. Today, there are dozens of open-air productions each summer. I was about halfway down when I took this. |
Beside the theater gift shop, there was a stairway carved into the rocks, which lead down to the beach. Feeling adventurous, Gabe and I climbed down, though I went a bit further to the beach path. On my way back up, it started raining! |
This is what I had to battle to get back to the top before it poured. I didn't quite make it. LOL |
