Finally, after 8 years, it was announced by the fan club that the Moody Blues album, Strange Times, would be released on August 10, 1999.  Then, just a month or so before that date, the release was pushed back to August 17th.  While the change dismayed most fans, it was a stroke of good fortune for eight of us.  Now, not only would we have the privilege of being part of the audience in Greenville, South Carolina, but, as winners of the OFC raffle for backstage passes, we would actually be able to meet and talk to the band on this landmark day in Moody history!

Everyone had a different impression of the backstage meeting, and here are five of the stories. All were written within six weeks of the event, while the memories were still fresh in our minds.
